Homemade Dog Food

Ingredients

Original recipe makes 10 cups6 cups water1 pound ground turkey2 cups brown rice1 teaspoon dried rosemary

Directions

  1. Place the water, ground turkey, rice, and rosemary into a large Dutch oven. Stir until the ground turkey is broken up and evenly distributed throughout the mixture; bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes. Add the frozen vegetables, and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Remove from heat and cool. Refrigerate until using.

Alaska Salmon Bake with Pecan Crunch Coating

Ingredients
Original recipe makes 6 servings3 tablespoons Dijon mustard3 tablespoons butter, melted5 teaspoons honey1/2 cup fresh bread crumbs1/2 cup finely chopped pecans3 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley6 (4 ounce) fillets salmonsalt and pepper to taste

  • Directions
    1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). In a small bowl, mix together the mustard, butter, and honey. In another bowl, mix together the bread crumbs, pecans, and parsley.
    2. Season each salmon fillet with salt and pepper. Place on a lightly greased baking sheet. Brush with mustard-honey mixture. Cover the top of each fillet with bread crumb mixture.
    3. Bake for 10 minutes per inch of thickness, measured at thickest part, or until salmon just flakes when tested with a fork. Serve garnished with lemon wedges.

Easy Chocolate Bundt Cake Glaze

Ingredients
Original recipe makes 1.25 cups1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk1 cup semisweet chocolate chips1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the sweetened condensed milk and chocolate chips. Cook, stirring constantly, until the chips are melted and the mixture is smooth. Do not allow it to bubble. Remove from the heat and stir in vanilla. Cool slightly before drizzling over a cake. If you want to make this ahead, it can be cooled and reheated in the microwave.
